Big Ink & Big Tuna

Recently, I had the opportunity to work with Big Ink at Hatch Show Print in the Haley Gallery, as I participated in one of their public workshops. First, I have to say, Lyell and Carand are two of the most lovely people one could every work with. Although, to be honest, Lyell did ALL of the heavy lifting and inking that day! The other participants (Lynn, Michael, Eric, Tara, Jennifer and Caroline) were just as delightful. It felt like a day of working along friends.. I cut two 24” x 36” blocks to make one large 36” x 48” image. Below are a few pictures from that weekend. A few adjustments have been made to my block and I am almost ready to print again - albeit this time by hand. Boy, will I miss Big Tuna!
