Back to Landscape Studies

No travel for a while, so instead I will peruse my old sketchbooks and photos from my last adventure to the Grand Tetons in autumn of 2019. By revisiting the original drawings (pen & ink, watercolor) done onsite, then reinterpreting them with new materials (acrylic, collage) I can explore the topic of landscape with all of its nuances. I am not ready to commit these to lino yet, so they remain studies of color, texture, horizon and light.
