Jill received her MA in Art Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA in printmaking from Kent State University. She has been a teaching artist for over 15 years and has facilitated programs for preschoolers to senior citizens. Her interest in arts administrative work has found place in public schools, museums and community art organizations.

Her practice focuses on illustrative portraits of historic architecture, re-interpretations of deteriorating and idealized landscape and exhibits her interest in pattern, texture, mark making and saturated color.

In 2016, Jill was commissioned by the Harlem Lake Marion Business Association to illustrate three images that captured the spirit of Downtown Oak Park. These illustrations were used for banner and marketing materials.

In 2009, she was chosen by the National Park Service to act as Artist in Residence at Acadia National Park in Maine. Her prints were used to promote the 3rd Annual Acadia Night Sky Festival.

Jill works from her home studio in Oak Park where she lives with her husband and two children.
